A couple of weeks ago I mentioned I would be adding a limited edition of rose-themed jewelry to my Peridot line. For the longest time I deliberated upon the designs, but finally came up with what you see below. This collection comprises dainty rose posts that come in sets of three and rose pendant necklaces. That's it! I might add a few different colours that go with the clothing :) The components are .925 sterling silver, while the earring backs are surgical steel (titanium).

Vor einigen Wochen hatte ich erwähnt, dass ich meine Peridot Linie um eine kleine Schmuckkollektion in  limitierter Auflage erweitere. Nach langer Überlegung sind nun Sets mit Rosenohrsteckern und zarte Silberkettchen mit Rosenanhänger entstanden. Alle Stücke sind von mir handgefertigt und bestehen aus 925er Sterling Silber bzw. Chirurgenstahl (Ohrstecker). Eventuell nehme ich noch weitere Farben ins Program, aber ansonsten bleibt es bei dieser Auswahl.

*Note - the solid silver arrow bracelet is a one-off! I had some cable link chain left and it would've been a shame not to make use of it!

*Anm. - das Silberarmband mit Pfeil ist ein Einzelstück! Ich hatte noch etwas von der Silberkette übrig - gerade genug, um daraus noch ein Teilchen zu fertigen!

I know that most of my readers associate me with florals, pastels and girly things - and you're spot on! I simply love it, however, there is a part of me that also likes graphic art, stark contrasts and repetitive patterns found in nature...and in respect thereof I've found another creative outlet on my newest selling site Society6. Never gets boring over here :)

Ich bin mir durchaus bewusst, dass die meisten meiner Leser mich mit Blümchen, Pastellfarben und Girly Dinge assoziieren. Es stimmt, ich liebe solche Dinge einfach! Dennoch mag ich auch gerne starke Kontraste und repetierende Muster, welche man z.B. in der Natur findet. In meinem vor kurzem eröffneten Webshop auf der Verkaufsplattform Society6 biete ich nun eine Auswahl meiner digitalen Fotos als Druck, Leinwand, Kissen u.v.m an! Hier wird's nie langweilig :)

And last, but not least...for all sewing enthusiasts I have some wonderful goodies for you! Thinking ahead to the holiday season I'll soon be stocking this sweet retro fabric collection in a wonderful red colorway! Perfect for Christmas and Valentine's sewing projects. Or you could make fun kitchen accessories, aprons and so much more! Honestly, I can't wait to get my hands on these - I'll reveal what I'll make with these in a future post :)

UPDATE: JUST ARRIVED!

Für alle NäherInnen unter Euch habe ich etwas ganz Besonderes! In Kürze erhalte ich eine super süße Kollektion bestehend aus fünf Retro-Stoffen in Rot (siehe oben). Sehr hübsch für Platzsets, Tischläufer, Schürzen, Topflappen und...und...und. Ich kann's selber kaum erwarten diese in den Händen zu halten. Tausend Ideen schwirren schon in meinem Kopf herum! Was ich daraus machen werde zeige ich Euch in einem späteren Post :)

Thinking even further ahead :) I chose some charming pastel roseprints for springtime! In the sewing world it's important to plan and make items in advance! If you're into soft, shabby chic style then you will certainly love these! They come in a blue, pink and green colorway.

Vielleicht mag es dem einen oder anderen Leser zu früh sein, doch ich denke - was die Stoffkollektionen betrifft - jetzt schon an Stoffe für das Frühjahr 2014 :) So habe ich mich für diese charmanten, pastellfarbenen Rosendrucke entschieden! Wer den romantischen Shabby Chic-Stil mag, wird diese Kollektion ganz sicher lieben! Die Stoffe mit verschiedenen Rosenmotiven und Vichykaros gibt es in einer zartblauen, zartrosa und zartgrünen Farbgebung.

Oh, and one more thing...I just received these cute mini pompom ribbons for embellishing your sewing projects. There are seven lovely colours to choose from: basic white and black, a lush red, fuchsia, pink, pastel blue and mint!

Ach ja, bevor ich es vergesse...es sind super süße Minibommelborten eingetroffen! Damit lassen sich Nähprojekte trendmäßig aufpimpen. Sieben wunderschöne Farben stehen zur Auswahl!

New Arrivals in the Etsy Shop

Hi there, lovelies!                    Hallo Mädels!

I've added some new items to my Peridot line of sleepwear plus a new category "rose themed jewelry". I've been developing a small but classy collection for a while now, and I'm pretty excited to add this to my line. The jewelry will include simple rose post earrings and dainty sterling silver necklaces. I hope to stock this section ready for the upcoming holidays.

Es gibt endlich wieder neue Teile in meinem Etsy Shop! Ausserdem habe ich meine Peridot Linie um eine neue Kategorie erweitert. Demnächst gibt es eine kleine, feine Schmuckkollektion, darunter kleine Ohrstecker für jeden Tag und zierliche Ketten aus Sterlingsilber - alles rund um das Thema Rosen.

After much deliberation, I've decided on boxed packaging for the jewelry. Not only does this look pretty, but the items are ready to be gifted :)

Lange habe ich über die Verpackung für meinen Schmuck nachgedacht. Beutel? Geschenkkarton? Geschenkkarton! Und zwar gleich zum Verschenken hübsch verpackt :)

Last but not least I designed a camera bag for myself! Yes, just for me, not the shop. I've had that project on my to-do list forever and I'm so happy it's finally done. Happy with the result too. The bag fits my DSLR, two lenses, a second battery, various filters, my wallet, cell phone, keys and a little cloth for cleaning the lens.

Zum guten Schluß habe ich noch etwas für mich gemacht, nur für mich - nicht den Shop! Dieses Nähprojekt stand schon länger auf meiner To-Do-Liste, und ich bin so froh, dass ich es endlich fertig bekommen habe! Hier ist meine neue Kameratasche mit Unterteilungen für Kamera, zwei Objektive, Filter, Ersatzakku, Geldbörse, Handy, Schlüssel und ein kleines Läppchen zum Säubern der Linse.
