Fabric Bundles ::: Stoffpakete

Hi friends!            Hallo Freunde!

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who commented on this post. I still think the accusation is ridiculous, but they were threatening to take down my blog, so what choice did I have but to delete the post in question. So that's one less cute photo of Sammy here on my blog, but don't worry, I'll make up for it next week, because Sammy's birthday is coming up :)

On to more pleasant things! Did you know I am offering single Fat Quarters and fabric bundles in my fabric shoppe? The FQ's start from as little as Euro 3,95 (approx. USD 4,88). Plus I cut them larger. A fat quarter usually measures 18" x 22 " but mine are adapted to the metric system - a quarter of one meter. I also make sure the fabric bundles I put together are well-matched, so that all you sewing enthusiasts out there can get straight to sewing your project! Here are a few examples:

Liebe Nähfreunde, wusstet ihr, dass ich in meinem Stofflädchen auch Fat Quarter und schön aufeinander abgestimmte Stoffpakete anbiete? Oben seht ihr eine Auswahl dessen. Ich hoffe ihr hattet erholsame Osterfeiertage :)

Last week I received my first shipment from France. I was so excited unpacking all the ribbons, bias binding and buttons. I use a lot of bias binding for my bags and clothing, so these will come in really handy. They come in three variations: gingham, polka dots and gingham with crochet edging. Cute!

Letze Woche ist die erste Bänder/Borten Lieferung aus Frankreich eingetroffen! Die Schrägbänder gibt es in Vichy, Püncktchen und Vichy mit Häkelborte. Süß! Ich benutze sehr viel davon für meine Taschen und Bekleidung und nun habe ich sie endlich auf Vorrat.

Yummy polka dot buttons! I'm really pleased with these - I only saw them in a catalogue before - so I might get other colours as well. I look forward to add these to my clothing! Plus they are great for scrapbooking too :)

Niedliche Püncktchen-Knöpfe! Ich hatte sie zuvor nur im Katalog gesehen - in Natura sind ja sie noch viel schöner und je nach dem wie der Abverkauf ist, werde ich noch weitere Farben bestellen! Die Knöpfe glänzen leicht und sind hinten einfarbig matt, daher auch super für Scrapbook-Projekte zu verwenden :)

I've also stocked dainty lace, ruffle trim, ribbons for decorating, floral woven ribbons and luxury velvet ribbons in soft rose and burgundy! I'm still busy taking photos, but I hope to have them all listed soon. I'm happy to report I've already sold some! I mean...which serious seamstress could resist, right?

Außer Schrägbänder gibt es noch zarte Spitze, elastische Vichy-Rüschen, schmale Vichy-Dekobänder, Blumenborten und edele Samtbänder in altrosa und weinrot! Die muß ich aber noch alle fotografieren. Bis Ende der Woche sollten sie eingestellt sein. Wer Interesse hat schaut hier und hier.

Bänder, Borten & Co. .......Destash

One of my cabinets in my tiny home office is filled to the bursting point with all sorts of haberdashery ~ binding, piping, webbing, trims and notions of all kinds and in all colours! I've been sorting through it all, discovering a few things I didn't even realize I had. I've decided to destash some of the items I will probably never use, and I'll be listing these in my fabric shoppe soon!

Wie bei allen Leuten, die viel nähen hat sich auch bei mir über die Jahre eine Menge Kurzwaren und Zubehör angesammelt. Eines meiner Schränke ist bis zum Bersten gefüllt! Beim Aussortieren habe ich einige Dinge entdeckt, von denen ich gar nicht wusste, dass ich sie habe! Aber zuviel ist zuviel, und so werde ich mich von einigen Kurzwaren trennen und diese zu einem rabattierten Preis anbieten, z.B. Schrägbänder, Gurtbänder u. ähn. Wer auf Schnäppchenjagd ist schaut einfach mal in den nächsten Tagen im Lädchen vorbei!

I could really use an organized space such as this!..Ich brauche so ein gut organisiertes Zimmer wie dieses!

What else is new? Well, I received this gorgeous fabric from Amy Butler's newest collection called Lark. It's bohemian-inspired with Asian influences. The colours really pop. This fabric is destined to be made into tunics for my Peridot line.

Was gibt es sonst noch Neues? Ich habe einen wunderschönen Stoff aus Amy Butler's neuester Kollektion Lark erhalten. Diese Stoffe sind bohème und asiatisch inspiriert; kräftige Farben und ungewöhnliche Muster zeichnen sie aus. Eines dieser Stoffe werde ich zu Tuniken für meine Peridot Linie verarbeiten. Die US Designerin habe ich im April diesen Jahres hier kennengelernt. Ja, das bin ich mit Brille ;-)

And I also received a lovely set of romantic fabrics, one of which I'm currently using to make a sweet little clutch. Hope to show you some pictures soon.

Des Weiteren habe ich noch einige romantische Stoffe erhalten. Ich bin gerade dabei einen davon zu einer süßen Clutch zu verarbeiten. Ich hoffe ich kann euch demnächst hier Bilder davon zeigen.
