I feel terrible about neglecting my blog lately, but I do have the perfect excuse...I've been really busy working behind the scenes, i.e. completing orders for
the boutique and finishing this recent custom order...
In letzter Zeit habe ich das Bloggen vernachlässigt, aber es gibt einen guten Grund...ich habe unendlich viel genäht, z.B. für die Boutique und dieser Sonderauftrag...
Although "shorts season" is officially over, not so in Australia, which is where my customer hails from! She's very much looking forward to spring and summertime, and wearing these custom made bright and colourful ruffle shorts! For these shorts she chose a fun floral fabric and I edged each pant leg with a cute red gingham ruffle.
Obwohl bei uns der Sommer nun endgültig vorbei ist, erwartet man andererorts sehnlichst den Frühling und Sommer. So auch meine australische Kundin, für die ich diese Rüschenhose kundenspezifisch angefertigt habe. Dabei hat sie sich für ein bunt-florales Muster entschieden und als Kontrast eine rot-weiße Vichyrüsche an die Beinabschlüsse gewünscht.
I like bright, colourful fabrics. They cheer me up on rainy days and make me look forward to creating!
