Garden Days

Hello lovelies,
I finally made it to one of my favorite show gardens! I have been visiting those in my area for years and it is something that I look forward to each summer. Unfortunately the thunderstorms of the past days destroyed many of the flowers, especially the roses, but I was able to capture a few that had been spared. Although this garden isn't that large, what I love about it are all the whimsical details - little fairies sitting among flowers, cute signs, tablescapes and garden decor, sculptures, the herb garden, rambling roses, a variety of plants and so much more! Everywhere you turn there is something interesting to discover, be it a little bird house or lovingly tended honeysuckle climbing up a frame. This is my third time visiting and each time there are exciting new things to see. And since I hadn't been out of the house for months on end I'm seeing it all with fresh eyes. I hope you enjoy my selection of photos below!

Flower Friday

Hello lovelies!           Hallo, ihr Lieben!

It's been a while since I last posted. I've been quite busy behind the scenes actually! Apart from day to day business, much of my time was spent on the tedious new GDPR or general data protection regulation, which affects my shop, my blog as well as my newsletter. I've had to make a few changes to my blog and sadly had to throw out quite a number of links, banners, ads and entire blog posts! Henceforth I won't be accepting any ads nor will I be doing sponsored posts, because of legal implications. At one point I seriously thought about deleting my blog altogether, but then I remembered it will be my 10th Blog Anniversary this October, and I had planned something special for my readers. Stay tuned :)

Since I've been pretty much house bound these past couple of months a friend suggested visiting one of the many gardens that are open throughout the summer months. Spending time in nature has such an uplifting effect. I admit I went a little overboard taking hundreds of pics, but this beautiful garden we went to had so much to offer - I couldn't resist. Here I'm sharing a small selection of the pretty flowers that were blooming. Enjoy!

Achtung - Bilderflut!

Happy Friday!

I just wanted to stop in quickly on this last day of September to say hello! The next few days... probably weeks are going to be super busy around here as I am currently working on a big project. This project had been on my wish list forever and suddenly somehow everything fell into place a week ago and it's all hands on deck! I'm so excited and I'm longing to share, but not before everything is finished and...well, perfect :) Meanwhile we're looking forward to a long weekend, as Monday is Germany's national day!

Fading Flowers

Fall has come early over here. Almost all the roses are gone due to the heavy rains we've been having lately. Here are a few blooms that are hanging on and braving the chilly weather!
