Floral & Mint

This month has been super busy! What with the studio renovation, a whirlwind visit to my mom plus unpacking, labelling and uploading beautiful new fabrics to my fabric shoppe. On top of that I made some handmade items as gifts (you know I love gifting handmade).

Diesen Monat war ich ganz schön fleißig! Zwischen Studio renovieren und wunderschöne neue Stoffkollektionen auspacken und im Stofflädchen einstellen, habe ich es trotzdem noch geschafft diese Handmade Geschenke zu fertigen. Ich verschenke einfach zu gern Handmade :)

I designed this envelope clutch and chose a romantic floral fabric from J. Paganelli in soft mint green. Details include a pretty lace embellishment on the flap as well as a handrolled shabby chic flower using the same technique as I explained here.

Diese Clutch (Eigenentwurf) habe ich aus einem romantisch geblümten Stoff in pastelligem Mint von der US Designerin J. Paganelli gefertigt und mit mintfarbener Spitze verziert. Außerdem ziert eine handgerollte Stoffblume die vordere Patte. Wie das geht zeigte ich bereits hier.

I made this necklace for a very special person

 Diese Kette habe ich für eine ganz besondere Person gefertigt

...and while I had the beadbox out I made a pair of hot pink rose earrings pour moi

as a little reward for all the hard work this month :)

...und zum guten Schluß (wo ich schon die Kiste mit den Perlen draußen hatte) habe ich diese pinken Rosenohrringe gefertigt...als kleine Belohnung für mich :)

Another surprise in the mail!

Yippee! A gift from my good friend Abby over at Simply Charming in SC arrived in the mail today. My day brightened instantly! As part of the 'Generosity Award', Abby made a pair of earrings just for me - in pink - what else?! Thank you ever so much, Abby ♥ I love, love, love them! I am now a proud owner of original 'Simply Charming' earrings. Yay! And they match 80% of my wardrobe - what could be better?

Thank you, my friend, for this beautiful gift, which I will cherish forever! I'm preparing my own little gifts for a few wonderful people I met through Blogger and Entrecard, but I want it to be a surprise, so I won't reveal what it is...obviously it will be something handmade by me. More on this at a later date. Hope everyone is having better weather than we are at the moment: still raining, still cold, still gloomy. Urrgh! I'm going to get myself a steaming cup of tea...
