Monday Moodboard

Another wonderful thing about May are the gorgeous lilac trees currently in full bloom. I love their pretty blossoms in all shades from deep pink to the palest lilac and their delicate fragrance is divine. Seen any lilacs in your neck of the woods?

Im Mai ist wieder Fliederzeit. Ich liebe die kleinen Blüten in allen Farben von Pink bis Zartlila und wie sie duften...einfach herrlich. Meine heutige Collage habe ich dem Flieder gewidmet!

No I haven't seen any lilacs around here yet but I do love them. When I was growing up we had several large bushes in our yard. I've tried a few times to plant them here and they always end up dead.

Hallo liebe Duni,

I love that colour. Unfortunately there isn't much of the flower around my home though. Have a lovely week Duni x

I rarely see (or smell) lilacs around here and they are one of my favorite flowers (and color!).

Beautiful moodboard Duni. We just learned last week there is a lilac bush on our new property! It is blooming however not well. It is not in a sunny spot. :( Lilacs are totally in bloom in our region too!

Lilacs are so lovely! I don't think I've seen any in Hawaii, but I did see some flowering trees with a very similar color on Saturday.

I love the smell of lilacs! I'm hoping my little plants produce some blooms soon. We planted them as sticks 3 years ago. They're getting bigger each year :)

I love lilacs! We have one that is just so huge it needs to be trimmed way down but I'm afraid to because I don't want it to die. It smells so beautiful! Love your picks too! The necklace is lovely!

I love the smell of lilacs. While we don't have a bush near here, there is one on my walk at work...and I stick my nose in that bush whenever I pass it. I wonder if the property owner sees me...and how happy it makes me?

You're lucky! I wish we had a lilacs, but there's not sunny spot left in the garden ;-)

It's a good sign they are growing :) I hope they bloom soon!

I'm not sure if lilacs can grow here, but they're so beautiful! I've been enjoying the last of the wild flowers before it gets too hot for them, though. :)
