Neulich habe ich meine MontagsCollagen im Archiv durchstöbert und dabei festgestellt, dass ich diese wöchentlichen Moodboards schon drei Jahre lang kuratiere, jedoch habe ich bisher den Opal nur einmal gezeigt. Zufällig wird er dem Oktober als Geburtsstein zugeordnet, daher gibt es heute drei ausgewählte Bilder, welche die schillernde Farbe des Schmucksteins am besten zum Ausdruck bringen :)

Opal is a beautiful stone, it's as if lit from within. This creates a bit of mystery and enigma. Like any stone opal also needs a beautiful framing.

Meine Großmutter hat haufenweise Ketten und Ringe mit Opal, denn es ist ihr Lieblingsstein. Ich weiß noch, dass ich als kleines Mädchen stundenlang mit den Schmuckstücken gespielt habe, weil mich das Lichtspiel und die Farbfacetten so fasziniert haben.
