Inspired by Frida

source
Frida Kahlo was undoubtedly one of Mexico's greatest artists, best known for her vivid and visually honest self-portraits. Despite her debilitating health problems - which ultimately led to an early death at only 47 years - she was a spirited, outspoken and politically active woman with a penchant for traditional and colourful clothes and jewelry!

Here are a few Frida-inspired creations of mine!

little cat charm
colourful drawstring tote / bunte Beuteltasche mit Schnürung

What about you? Do you get inspired by the work of famous artists?

Britta
