5 Minute Diy [ Scrap Hearts ]

These are so easy and fun to make! In fact, I have a whole box full of these. Some I use for decoration, some as little appreciation gifts for customers. The best thing is that these are a great way to use up those itty-bitty fabric scraps left over from sewing projects!

Diese gefüllten Herzen sind so einfach zu machen! Ich habe jede Menge davon. Manche benutze ich als Deko, andere verschenke ich. Auf jeden Fall lassen sich mit dieser DIY Idee die vielen kleinen Stoffreste verwerten!

You'll need // Material

small fabric scraps * kleine Stoffreste

plastic heart molds * befüllbare Herzen aus Kunststoff

baker's twine * buntes Garn

scissors * Schere

First, sort the scraps by color, i.e. all pink scraps, all blue scraps etc. I find the hearts looks prettier if the scraps are color coordinated :) If the scraps seem too big, cut them to size. Fill each side of the heart molds with equal amounts of scraps. You might want to place a fun motif at the bottom, so that it looks nice from either side. Carefully click the heart halves together. Thread the top with twine of your choice and knot. Now make a few more!

Zunächst die Stoffreste farblich sortieren. Ich finde die Herzen sehen hübscher aus, wenn sie jeweils nur eine Farbrichtung beinhalten, z.B. rosa Stoffreste, blaue Stoffreste etc. Zu große Stoffstücke einfach zerschneiden. Beide Hälften befüllen; eventuell ganz unten ein schönes Motiv wählen, damit es nach von beiden Seiten schön aussieht :) Vorsichtig zusammendrücken. Zum Schluß das Garn in der Wunschfarbe durch die Schlaufe ziehen und verknoten. Fertig!
