First of all, thanks for your well wishes. With the help of my hot water bottle and painkillers I can just about manage to go about my daily work!
Once again it's been a super busy week, and there is still plenty to do in the run up to Christmas. I guess keeping busy is a good way to divert my attention away from the fact, that it is freezing cold, wet and generally "icky" out there. I am so not a winter person.

Leo is back to his healthy bouncy self after sustaining a leg injury a while back. Ever try sticking a feral cat into a travel crate in order to take him to the vet? No? Didn't think so. Meanwhile, I have the scratch marks to prove we did eventually get him in there ;-)
My studio is (ever so) slowly coming together. I found a cool rack to keep my Mollie Makes mags and a sign that says "favourite place".
I made apple galettes with caramel glaze. The highlight of the week was receiving the wonderful prize I won over at lovely Birgit's blog! The book "romantic living" was packaged in sweet pink gingham wrapping paper and she thoughtfully added a yummy chocolate bar! Birgit, thank you so very much for this beautiful book, which I will enjoy browsing and I'm sure I'll find lots of wonderful inspirations in it as well :)
♥♥♥
Have a great day!

Great photo's, will the recipe for the galettes be on the blog? They look good! Things are icky and rainy over here too :-(
ReplyDeleteyou're right, I've never had to try and put a feral cat in a travel crate :) I can imagine that it wasn't very fun.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the freezing cold, wet and icky weather though since it looks like the snow is going to stick around for a while now. I'm not a winter person either.
Those gallettes look fantastic! And it's wonderful to see Leo's handsome green eyes all wide open and alert again =) Glad you're starting to feel better, too!
ReplyDeleteLeo looks so cute :) Glad he is feeling better...and glad you are too!
ReplyDeleteLove your magazine rack and that new book is perfect for your style...congrats on the win!
Your cat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI had to force my kitty into a travel crate when I moved to another city, the moving truck was waiting and I gave her a pill to calm her down, which the vet said was going to work and it was $10.00...that pill did nothing and it took me 2 hours to finally get her in the crate, so I know what you mean.
Good, that you feel much better and you can go back to your work.
ReplyDeleteIn Vienna is also extremly cold and I don't like this at all
beautiful photos Duni, and Leo looks so sweet! glad he is feeling better (and hope your scratches are too!)
ReplyDeleteAwww, who could resist that cute little Leo face! Love the magazine rack -- just looking at the covers of Mollie Makes gives you inspiration! Congrats on winning such a lovely book -- even the candy bar wrapper is just your style!
ReplyDeleteLove the magazine rack. We tend to stack ours on the bookshelves (we read a lot of National Geographic so they look nice stacked together) but I wouldn't mind getting some more vertical storage.
ReplyDeleteThe apple tarts looks great, too!

I'm so glad that both you and Leo are doing better! I'm so not a winter person either. Yuck.

Love the magazine rack, and I'm glad you're feeling better! I like the cold when I'm all snuggly at home, but going out in it, not so much!

Awww! I'm glad Leo is doing better. I worry about getting my cats in a crate. It is possible we are moving to Florida in 2014 which is approximately a 1000 mile drive. How am I going to transport my feline buddies? That will not be pleasant.
ReplyDeleteI hope you back is feeling better each day. Cold, wet weather is not helpful to sore muscles. The apple galettes look delicious!
Liebe Duni,
