My style - transitioning from late summer to early fall

My regular readers know that Summer is my favourite season. I just love wearing flowing outifts and sandals. I try to prolong this carefree summer feeling into late summer by wearing floral tops and dangly earrings, paired with classic jeans (most everyone owns one of those) and a brightly coloured cardigan.

Late Summer Outfit

Chiffon top, €21 / J Brand bootcut jeans, €245 / L.K.Bennett merino cardigan, €130 / Anniel cushioned shoes, €87 / Charlotte Russe green purse, €14 / Urban Posh , €72

When temperatures drop, and over here they do so fairly rapidly come September, I replace the floral top with a knit sweater and the cardigan with my well-loved classic trenchcoat. The outfit is toned down, but I add some pops of colour on my ears and nails. I'm really susceptible to the cold, so I usually wear a hat when I go out!

Early Fall Outfit

A|Wear long sleeve shirt, €20 / Warehouse trench coat, €99 / J Brand jeans, €245 / HANDSOM flat shoes, €155 / Kate Spade jewelry, €29 / Stetson hat, €87 / Nail polish, €17

What key pieces do you own that transition well from late summer to early fall?
