Today is the last Monday in February and I almost forgot to post a birthstone moodboard! Amethyst, also known as the "stone of wisdom" is one of my all time favourite gemstones. The colours range from deep purple to pale lilac, the latter being my preferred choice. What about you?

Heute ist der letzte Montag im Februar und ich hatte fast vergessen eine Geburtsstein-Collage zu posten! Beim "Heilstein" Amethyst handelt es sich um einen violetten Kristallquarz. Die Farbe variiert häufig und reicht von Tieflila bis hin zu einem pastelligem Violett, wobei letzteres meine bevorzugte Wahl ist. Mögt Ihr diese Farbe?

Monday Moodboard

The first ring that I owned had a beautiful oval amethyst set in hammered silver. I still have it, but over the years the silver has become quite tarnished...one of these days I need to polish it back to its former glory! Amethyst is the theme of my moodboard today, which is also the February birthstone. Enjoy!
