Normally I don't blog on Sunday's, but today, on this unusually golden Autumn day I felt like wishing my dear readers a happy Sunday. I truly appreciate you taking the time to stop by and leaving kind comments! Here's a little poem (excerpt) for you...

Monday Moodboard

I rarely see squirrels around here, so I was quite surprised to spot two when I went for a walk at the weekend. They are funny creatures and a joy to watch! The trees seem to have lost most of their leaves all in one go. Winter is just around the corner and the weather forecast says to expect fresh snow...

Ich bekomme selten Eichhörnchen zu sehen. Ziemlich überrascht war ich, als ich beim Spaziergang am Wochenende gleich zwei entdeckte! Es sind ja wirklich lustige Tierchen! Die Bäume hier haben massiv Blätter verloren. Der Winter naht und es soll angeblich Neuschnee geben...
Mein Spaziergang durch den hiesigen Park inspirierte mich zur heutigen Montags-Collage!

At this time of year supermarkets stock yummy dark chocolate covered gingerbread in heart, star or pretzel shapes. I really love these, and I know I shouldn't be eating a whole lot of them, but to indulge in one or two with a steaming cup of coffee when it is cold and rainy outside is pure bliss...

Jetzt gibt es ja wieder die leckeren Lebkuchen zu kaufen - besonders die mit dunkler Schokolade überzogen - kann ich nicht widerstehen, obwohl ich ja nicht so viel Süßes essen sollte *räusper*. Aber wenn es draussen windig und kalt ist und zudem noch regnet gibt es nichts Schöneres als heiß aufgebrühter Kaffee und ein oder zwei dieser Naschereien...

Autumn-inspired fabrics and me! This was taken on one of the rare sunny days we had and I happened to be wearing a brown Tshirt which sort of fitted right into this autumnal theme.

Herbstlich inspirierte Stoffe und ich! Das Foto von mir wurde an einen der raren sonnigen Tage gemacht. Zufällig hatte ich ein braunes Shirt an - irgendwie passend zu dem Thema "Herbst".
