Heute ist der letzte Montag im Februar und ich hatte fast vergessen eine Geburtsstein-Collage zu posten! Beim "Heilstein" Amethyst handelt es sich um einen violetten Kristallquarz. Die Farbe variiert häufig und reicht von Tieflila bis hin zu einem pastelligem Violett, wobei letzteres meine bevorzugte Wahl ist. Mögt Ihr diese Farbe?

ja, ich kann dieser Farbe durchaus etwas abgewinnen. Nicht zu jeder Zeit, aber momentan scheint sie trendy zu sein. Jedenfalls gibt es zur Zeit viele viele Treasuries auf Etsy in diesem "purple".

wow that ring is stunning! what an unusual cut! I prefer the deep purple, but find the whitish-lavender intriguing. Much of the amethyst I saw in India was the latter and I still have many of those stones in my stash :D

Purple is my favorite color, so amethyst is always at the top of my list. It's my sister's birthstone and I used to be so jealous that she would get more of it for gifts than I would. Haha. (But I've grown to like my own birthstone now, so it's okay.)

Love this birthstone. I do love a deep, dark amethyst...pale is lovely too...especially at this time of year! Good collection!
