Recently, at the trade fair I saw lots of pretty nursery decorations. Bunnies and elephants were a popular theme. This inspired me to create a nursery theme for my mood board today. I also recently completed a baby quilt for a friend. That was quite the task and after stitching the binding on by hand I'm not so sure I'll be repeating that in a hurry ;-)

Neulich auf der Stoffmesse gab es viele hübsche genähte Sachen für Kinder, u.a. süße Hasenkissen und Stoffelefanten. Das hat mich zu dem heutigen "Kinderzimmerthema" inspiriert! Apropos...vor kurzem habe ich eine Krabbeldecke für eine Freundin genäht. Das hat länger gedauert als gedacht, aber sie ist zum Glück noch rechtzeitig zum Verschenken fertig geworden ;-)

So sweet! I've tried quilting a couple of times. My attempts have left me with an even greater appreciation for quilts and those who make them because I have a lot of trouble sticking with a project that takes that long!
