Amsterdam Street Scenes [part 2]

Hi there lovelies!                Hallo Mädels!

This is part two of my Amsterdam city trip. You can read up on part one if you missed it.
*
Hier kommt Teil Zwei meines Amsterdamer Stadtrundgangs. Den ersten Teil könnt Ihr hier nachlesen.

No visit to Amsterdam is complete without stopping by China Town!
The Buddhist Temple on the main street with its roof strangely swathed in yellow netting - don't ask me why.
*

If my US readers ever visit Amsterdam and feel homesick.... ;-)

The historic Bijenkorf department store is located on the main square and not to be missed.

Das historische Bijenkorf Einkaufszentrum liegt zentral am Dam Platz.

The best restaurants are usually tucked in narrow alleyways
*
Die besten Restaurants findet man in kleinen Gassen

The flower market sells an abundance of bulbs of all sorts

Amsterdam Street Scenes [part 1]

It's been a while since I last visited Amsterdam. Navigating traffic was a bit tricky with cars, trucks, people on scooters and cyclists all vying for right-of-way. It's busier than ever! The good thing about busy places is that no one notices me snapping away :)
It was rather windy and overcast and at one point it started raining -  in other words, typical Amsterdam weather!
*

There are all sorts of interesting independent shops...

Schön, dass Ihr vorbeigeschaut habt! Ich hoffe Euch hat der Stadtrundgang gefallen! Das nächste Mal zeige ich Euch Teil Zwei! Bis dahin -
