I trust you all had a splendid holiday! We had a lovely Christmas and a pretty quiet New Year's Eve - which is the way I (Sammy, the birds and ducks) prefer it. And NO, with this very first post of 2011 I am not going to bore you with a list of resolutions! Besides, I do not make any. Long time ago I decided to just stick to choices that will help me reach my highest potential, and this is an ongoing process. Most important for me is that I keep moving forward and there is a measurable amount of progress and growth each year. Works for me :)

That's a beautiful photo! Looks mysterious and cold. Glad you had a wonderful holiday, we all did too. I think your way to look at a new year is the way it should be! I don't do resolutions either.

Happy New Year to you too Duni! I think that's great of you- you do need to keep yourself moving forward, but why wait and do it just once a year? Hehe. Wishing you, your hubby, and Sammy a lovely new year. Hopefully some of that snow melts down. It does look lovely though!

Is that tree outside your bedroom window?! That is amazing! Glad to know you had a good holiday season. I have resolutions, but they're the same as last year, the year before that and so on! But this year, I really do hope to be healthier. I'm getting old. Body doesn't recover fast from my abuse anymore!
