It might seem strange thinking about Spring in the run up to Christmas, but since I own a fabric shoppe I do like to keep abreast of colour trends to help me choose new fabric collections wisely.
The colour palette for Spring is cool and soft, with shades of blue taking the lead. These are offset by subtle warm tones inspired by nature. According to a recent survey, the most popular of the top ten is scuba blue, while the least popular is custard...
Personally, I like these subtle, relaxing colours that harmonize well - lucite green and strawberry ice are my faves - and from experience I know that all of the blue shades will be very popular as far as textiles go. Can't wait to see the new designs next year!
Es mag seltsam sein über Frühjahrsfarben nachzudenken, zumal wir ja momentan auf Weihnachten zusteuern, jedoch ist es in meiner Branche unabdingbar - vor allem als Stoffladenbesitzer - dass ich mich über Farbtrends auf dem Laufenden halte. Nicht zuletzt um neue Stoffkollektionen mit Bedacht auswählen zu können.
Die Farbpalette für den Frühling 2015 ist kühl und zurückhaltend, dabei stehen Blautöne im Vordergrund. Subtile, von der Natur inspirierte Farben verleihen der Palette etwas Wärme.
Laut einer aktuellen Umfrage ist Scuba Blau die beliebteste Farbe während die Farbe Custard das Schlusslicht bildet. Ich persönlich mag diese sanften Farben, die wirklich gut harmonieren - Lucite Green und Strawberry Ice sind meine Favoriten. Aus Erfahrung weiß ich, dass sich die gesamten Blautöne großer Beliebtheit erfreuen werden, zumindest was Textilien betrifft. Ich freue mich schon auf die neuen Stoffdesigns im kommenden Jahr!
