Hello everyone!
If you have not already guessed today's theme - it's "patterns". As a former fabric store owner I love all kinds of patterns, especially polka dots and gingham. I'm known for sporting bags printed with polka dots. Nautical stripes are also a firm favorite. My choices here include fun stripey earrings and a vintage gingham skirt. The scarf with irregular dots is so pretty and the tote bag would be a great choice on market days. Which one is your favorite?

ReplyDeleteI like those funky striped earrings! In my first year of learning how to sew in 4-H, we had to make a kitchen apron. I chose a lovely blue gingham for mine. I wish I had kept that apron, not because I would have used it necessarily, but purely for nostalgia's sake. I never did become a serious seamstress.

For me, I usually gravitate towards dots on patterns, but with summer on the horizon, gingham is a fun way to transition into the season.
