I know I'm super late posting the top ten Pantone colors for Fall, but I blame it on not being too thrilled with their choices this year. Personally, only three of these appeal to me in that they can be easily mixed and matched in both fashion and home decor. Most of the remaining colors have a warm or yellow undertone and I generally steer clear of those, but perhaps these are just what you're looking for :)
Liebe Grüße an Dich
ANi
IT looks as if Pantone chose practically every color they could think of for 2016. Can't wait to see what 2017 will bring in the way of colors!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Navy color (always so regal!!) The Bodacious Purple Contest is what I had entered my Lampwork Necklace in 2 weeks ago and won for that color! So guess right now I am partial to that Pantone color!!!
I like that they chose some nice rich hues along with some muted ones as well. They mix and match well.
ReplyDeleteto be honest, I like most of them!
ReplyDeleteLiebe Duni,
The tones are so pretty. I love that dusty cedar.
ReplyDeleteThey do look haphazardly chosen and thrown together. I do like some of these but not all of them and definitely not combined.
ReplyDeleteWhile I personally wouldn't wear the yellow/read tones, I really like the blues, green, and purple! I don't really pay attention to the colors of the season that much, though, because they just don't feel that relevant to me. My wardrobe is basically the same year round. Stores that cater to tourists have plenty of seasonal options, but most residents here just wear the same things over and over!
ReplyDeleteMy friends laugh but my Pantone color stays the same every year. Anything black with jeans!!
DeleteAbout the only one I'm not real crazy about is the spicy mustard. but the rest I like
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of potter's clay or the spicy mustard but the others are alright. I like your picks a lot!
ReplyDeleteI'm a cool undertone person too (save for my favorite, bright red-orange, which I don't wear but looove in design) I love pretty much all of these! :D Great selection this season!
ReplyDeleteI really love your choices, Duni. I like warm yellow tones, but don't wear too many of them since my skin has olive undertones. Great picks!
