Life Lately

It's been a busy couple of weeks so far and it looks like it's going to get even busier in the run up to Christmas! On the last relatively bright day I took a walk around our local park, stopping to say hello to one of the horses :) Our local Christmas market is tiny compared to the one in my favourite big city, but charming none the less. I did a bit of seasonal decorating around the home and I've written most of my cards. Thankfully I'm done with the presents too - lots of handmade ones, including dainty necklaces for the females in my family. Oh, and I'm happy to report I made my first three sales on Society6 this month, after having joined the site in October.
And what about you? Are you ready for Christmas? I hope you're enjoying the season so far!

Happy Weekend
xoxo

  2. Liebe Duni,
Du hast tolle Dinge in Deinem neuen Shop!
Hübsche Bilder hast Du gezeigt, gehört die Katze Dir?
    Liebe Grüße

  5. My in-laws were just in Germany and they LOVED the Christmas markets they went to. They came home with so many ornaments--some of which went to us. :-) There's a German holiday market downtown Chicago every year, but I'm sure it's not as cool as the real thing.

hope I'll be done by this weekend! Meanwhile my hubby is working from home these days, though night shift but still we have much time during the day to wander around and explore decorations in the city:) Enjoying it!

  10. It seems like you have been pretty busy, I love your photos. This Christmas I am taking it slow. I try to take in more of the pure Christmas spirit and not succumb to consumerism.

  13. That cake looks so good! Like mum, I love marzipan too. And I love the nativity set. There is an exhibition close to my hometown that shows lots of them, from all over the world. I hope I can manage to go.
