Hi dear friends! Hallo meine Lieben!
It's August already, and in two weeks I will be seeing my family including my niece aged seven! I love little girl's clothes, but since we don't have any children I get to indulge my niece instead. Although she's not a girly-girl (she does Taekwondo!) I couldn't resist making her a twirly skirt. I matched the skirt with a plain white Tshirt on which I appliquéd a tree, which I cut from the fabric of the second tier. Looking at the finished Tshirt I was thinking...hmm...I wouldn't mind having one - is that weird?!
Wahnsinn, wir haben schon August! In nur zwei Wochen sehe ich meine Familie und natürlich meine siebenjährige Nichte wieder. Ich habe leider selten die Gelegenheit Kinderoutfits zu nähen (da kinderlos), aber ich muß gestehen - ich finde die ja so niedlich! Also bekommt meine Nichte ein neues Outfit. Obwohl sie kein Girly ist (wie ich) mußte es diesmal ein farbenfrohes, dreistufiges Röckchen sein. Dazu passend habe ich ein schlichtes weißes Shirt mit einem Baum (aus dem zweiten Stoff ausgeschnitten) appliziert! Nachdem es fertig war habe ich mir gedacht...hmm...möchte ich auch haben :) Ist das komisch?!

Oh wie süß!!! Und ich finde es nicht kommisch aus dem Grund dass wenn ich ein kleines Mädchen war oder sogar auch schon Teenager waren wir eher arm und konnten und solche schönen Sachen gar nicht leisten + solche schönen Stoffe gab es in Polen damels eh nicht... ich habe das Gefühl ich muss/will alles jetzt nachholen und mich mit diesen schönen Sachen umgeben zu können, z.B. den Stoffen aus Deinem Laden ist einfach ein Dream came true so Ding:-))

It's so sweet! I bet she'll love it. My youngest female relative is 11 and she has definitely outgrown the sweet pink stage. Now she's trying to be older. :-)

Wow, ich hab mich sofort verliebt :-). Was für ein wunderschönes fröhliches Set. Ich wünschte ich wäre nur halb so talentiert mit Stoff wie Du. Meine beiden Mädels wären total begeistert, auch wenn unsere 7 Jährige mehr auf blau und türkis steht, aber bei "twirly skirts" können meine Ballerinas nie nein sagen :-). Ganz viel Spaß mit Deiner Familie und wunderschöne Ferien - maks :-)

Lucky niece! And I think having a similar top for yourself is great idea too. In the future, you could also venture on that as a business opportunity. Matchy matchy clothes for kids and their moms.
