Roses in June

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts lately -- I've been busy number crunching in preparation for the appointment with the tax consultant. It's gotten a lot more complicated now that my small business has grown plus there are a million rules to consider. They don't say Germany is the "country of rules and regulations" for nothing!

The pale pink roses in the garden are blooming now as are the dark red old-fashioned ones - their scent is divine and I have yet to take pictures of them. Keeping with the theme Petra a.k.a. "mamimadeit" has curated this beautiful  treasury on Etsy and featured my rosy ruffle shorts. She lives in Vienna, Austria and writes about her handmade creations and yummy recipes on her delightful blog.  Do check out her handmade bunnies in her Etsy shop! They are the perfect gift for babies/small children, and they come in a variety of colours and cute prints!

We have a public holiday tomorrow, so I'll have some time to catch up with you all!

  2. I have been doing a bit of surfing for a few things and it seems that everything I liked was from a European seller. I actually started to think I had hit some button where I was only looking at those sellers--it is great to see so many more shops!!

  3. Hello Duni! Congratulations for being selected and featured. :) I agree that business growth is always coupled with more complications. But with your experience, intelligence and perseverance I know you will get adjusted on these tax concerns.

  4. There is indeed lots of rules! It's a djungle out there! *laugh* It's the same here, and so much tax to consider it's a little bit ridiculous...

Summer is in full bloom here too. <3 The lilacs and honeysuckle fill the air with such lovely scents.
