Re-fashioned Vintage

I like to re-fashion my clothes, especially vintage finds. Remember the coat? So, I've had this celadon green Vintage 60s outfit hanging in my closet for a while now, and I knew I wanted to change it just a little...to put my mark on it so to speak. And I found just the thing in my haberdashery box = a navy and white diagonally striped bias binding. I piped the 3/4 sleeves and the collar. The corners were a bit fiddly - they are sewn like the corners on a tablecloth. I like the way it turned out though, and I think together with the enamel rose necklace it will be a great outfit to wear to Salut Salon at the end of this month.

p.s. the rash on my neck is an allergic reaction to my medication, please ignore

  2. I like the jacket AND the necklace! Very cute and very creative!

Didn't notice the rash on your neck, though I have that same problem! Ugh. I get it from my Prilosec, I think. And sometimes my ears get all red and burny. Hope you feel better. :)
