The rain has been bucketing down for days and it is starting to get at my normally cheerful disposition. I think I might just snuggle down on the big bed with a nice cup of tea and good book today. And Sammy to keep me company!

That sounds like a good plan for the day. As much as I dislike the snow I think I would rather have that than rain.
Oh, and take a nap. That's all rainy days are good for. It's so depressing when it rains for days. Ugh. I hope the sun shines soon for you!
Oh Sammy, we LOVE your crossed paws! You are just so handsome! Our rain is supposed to return this afternoon and last for a week or so. We're not looking forward to it at all but at least it isn't snow.
Resting with a good book sounds nice. It was so refreshing to finally be able to get out today and not freeze--I am ready for temperatures above the 30s.

We have been spoiled - we got lots of sun and pleasant temps here for the past few weeks. But it's supposed to rain this week. The one good thing about that - when it's gray, my human doesn't take as many photos and I can relax by the floor heater in peace.
Hi Duni, it's quite wet here as well...very sunny days and sudden downpours in the afternoon. Enjoy your book...love to know what you're reading. I'm going to get started on the Life of Pi soon :)
