Reviewing my To Do list

Like every year I made a To Do list sometime at the beginning of 2009. By August I'm usually 70% done - not this year however. Some of you may recall I started the year being hospitalized. I was seriously ill with a virus infection. Somehow that set the tone for the coming weeks and months. I was feeling under the weather for most of March/April, yet I still tried my best to handle the day-to-day business and keeping up with sewing. Since mid-May I've had another (and unresolved) health issue impacting my life negatively, thereby compromising my efficiency. This means there will be no new website this year. I would have had to triple my output, which is just not possible at the moment. Also, our big vacation in October is 'on hold', depending on the outcome of the test results. This is a big disappointment, but maybe the universe is telling me something? Like slowing down, for instance? Anyway, I'm still keeping my Dawanda shop, and hopefully, once my doc figures out how to alleviate, better yet, eliminate the pain I'm currently experiencing, I'll be able to list new stuff more frequently. Bear with me, please :) On a more positive note - one of my potted hydrangeas making an appearance at last! I wish everyone a great week!

  2. No apologies needed! Your health comes first (wow, that sounds weird coming from me.. I have a hard time doing that, too!). I just hope the doctor figures everything out, alleviates your pain, *and* you get to go on your vacation, too. :)

  3. The hydrangea is beautiful and shows that some things are worth waiting for! All your projects will be wonderful but it's okay to wait on them to be complete since right now it's most important to get your health on track. Take care of yourself!

  4. Take care of yourself! For purely selfish reasons we need you healthy to keep bringing us sweet bags and beautiful posts.

Hope they can get it taken care of soon.

  12. Oh Duni that is so beautiful. Honey I am so sorry there will not be a website this year, and I am also sorry that I have not been by either. Hey congrats on the year coming up though! WOO HOO! I have been moping, feeling sorry for myself. I woke up last Thursday and literally could not walk and I had my granddaughter on top of it. I was a mess, I could not stop crying and I was scaring her, (poor baby) but I hurt so bad it was awful. I could not even take a breath without it not hurting. So I tried my best to stop crying so I would stop scaring my grand baby and I just sat there for like a half hour while my meds kicked in and I was down from Thursday until yesterday just feeling lousy. I have wrote this down in my journal for my doctor too. Sorry I laid all of this on you, but this is why I am not blogging lately. Your always in my thoughts and prayers Duni.

    God bless,
    Jodi

Reminders from the universe to slow down a bit are always a good thing. It sucks that it has to come to you via your health- but I wish you well, and when you get some answers and this all clears up, I'm sure you will have had time to enjoy the things that matter most to you:)

  14. ahh I think I can smell that hydrangea..so beautiful.
Sometimes just doing what you can do is all that's required..

Not sure, but I think I may be channeling Wayne Dyer~ ;)

  15. Please take more rest. For a person who has health problem, you already look active and dedicate your life so much. I hope you know the result soon and whatever the result is, life must go on right :)
Thank you for sharing your beautiful hydrangeas.

  17. Sometimes you just have to say forget it! And think, if you just forget the list for the remainder of this year, it will already be written for next year! You could actually be ahead of yourself!
