I only half-finished my previous post, and I will probably only get to half-finish this one too! The reason being that there is still a gaping hole where the roof window should be, and the worst part is that the weather has turned from -16°C to +4°C overnight. Obviously the sheet of plastic that my hubby and I taped over it doesn't help to prevent the mass of snow from melting right into our attic plus it has started to drizzle. So, in between translating and tutoring I'm rushing back and forth from my desk to the attic with towels and buckets and more sheets of plastic. WHY is there never a repair man around when you need one??? Obviously, I'm not going to get any sewing done either. Anyway, enough with the whining!
